This probably had no effect on JKR when she was composing her great 
works. 

But a rather well known fact of Egyptian history has the famed King 
Akhnaton, the King who tried to turn the polytheistic culture to a 
monotheistic culture, was, by later Kings, stricken from the names of 
Kings. 

An obscured fact is that in order to refer to him, one had to say `He-
Whose-Name-May-Not-Be-Spoken'.
