That sounds like a load of bull to me. Just because someone works as a clerk behind the counter at a bookstore doesn't mean they know everything about books...doesn't even mean they know more than the average Joe about books. They just want to ring up your purchase and get you out of the store :P This doesn't apply to ALL bookstore workers, obviously. But i'd say it applies to the majority. When i worked at Eckerd, i didn't know jack about cosmetics or prescription drugs ;)

Are you seriously going to wait months to read OoTP just because it first comes out in hardback?? They don't release hardbacks and paperbacks simultaneously. If so, you'll probably want to leave this list in the meantime...because we'll be discussing the hell out of it.
