Well, that then begs the question if Harry would even be able to hold the
connection that long next time. (Over and above the chances of Priori
Incantatem happening again.)  I mean, probably one of the few reasons he was
able to hold on last time was the promise of seeing his parent soon - there
were only a few things done with that wand since 31 October 1981.

But if there is a next time, I don't think Harry can hold out (or onto the
connection) long enough for them to reappear.

Related, I think they probably just dissipate.  They're echoes and aren't
"stored" in the wand - they're always there because those are the curses
that wand performed.
