The Potters were at special risk, though, beyond the normal danger 
that Aurors would be in---they were forced to go into hiding under 
the cover of the Fidelius Charm. Harry had to be protected, too, 
which makes me think that he was a target for LV as well. 

I think that so far, the evidence points toward a Gryffindor-
Slytherin blood feud.
