It was, and thought I don't seriously entertain a belief in
Evil!Molly, I can more easily be persuaded about Fascist!Percy.  Yes,
he waded into the lake at the end of the second task out of presumed
concern, and he's apparently capable of a little gambling fun and
romance (both with Penelope Clearwater), but the catalog of his less
charming behaviors is a bit bigger -- his general prefectness both at
school and at home, his misguided (I think) admiration of his boss,
his rude Easter note to Ron... there are probably others, but I remain
concerned about that boy.  Maybe he'll just end up as an effective
bureaucrat, but he seems to me to have some potential vulnerability to
bad influences.
