US hardcover)  I saw someone mention that maybe a lot of wizarding lines are
hanging on by a thread.  This quote would seem to support that.

Me:  I think so too.  You can't compare them to muggle geneologies.  Another example, unless I'm mistaken. I am too lazy to verify this) is that with the death of Barty Crouch, another old wizarding family line died out.  Huggs Becky
