It strikes me as odd that we have heard no mention yet of vampires 
in Rowling's books, which (to me) seems as good a support as any for 
Snape's being of the Vampire persuasion.  Am I mistaken in saying 
that the Vampire is also(conspicuously) left out of her book of 
Magical Creatures?
