I've wondered that as well.  I didn't think of the
Mirror episode, but I've thought a lot about the
prediction of Buckbeak (and wondered what Trelawny
thought when it became true).  It seems like there was
something else that made me think he might be more of
a seer than we think, I believe in either PoA or GoF,
but I'm not sure exactly what it is.  Plus, I've
always wondered why Harry would stay in an elective
class when he and Ron are supposedly bad at it and
dread it everyday (I don't know if it's too much work
to have to switch to some other topic to focus on)
