I like this theory. I have one question though. Why would wizard kind 
who had chosen to leave for the muggle world for the safety of their 
descendents, then be pleased that one of the said descendents was 
returning, to the apparent danger zone, at the very vulnerable age of 
11. I would imagine that they would prefer Lily not to attend 
Hogwarts.
