As a fan of Harry Potter I have read the books several times each. The more I read them the more things I notice. One of the things I’ve noticed this time is that J.K. Rowling often describes the color of character’s eyes, more so than other authors do. Do you think she does that so we can visualize the character or do you think there's something more to it? Perhaps the color of a character’s eyes may be a symbol or an allusion to something else. Let me know what you think.

Thanks in advance,

Karen
