Throughout the books, JKR ties history (even fictional/legendary 
history) into the "reality" of Hogwarts. She's so clever about it!  I 
assumed that the Fat Friar was indeed Friar Tuck and the Grey Lady 
was Lady Jane Grey (though I've read some people believe her to be 
Rowena Ravenclaw?) I know there was an old horror movie called Baron 
Blood, but I don't know if the bloody fellow was fictional or 
historical. 8-O  Perhaps if he *was* historical, he could be our 
Bloody Baron?
