I am sure that I have refered to this exact possibility, in one of my 
comparitively recent posts. It was prior to the Changeling Hypothisis posts, however. 
(Found it. It was posted April 15.) I didn't go into detail, just noted the 
paradox.

Of course, the "protection" is a fairly dicy issue. Harry, after all, is 
"protected" as long as he is "with" the Dursleys. But there is nothing that we've 
seen that protects him *from* the Dursleys...
