The Changeling hypothesis covers that one, as does the theory of a power 
infusion along with the gift of Parseltongue. There are a number of variants that 
account for it, but they all do assume that in the amount of raw power, Harry 
is more gifted than typical for wizards. 

Myself, I think that it is not only so much the amount of power but the 
origins of that power. I really do think that Harry is managing to resist Voldemort 
because he is, one way or another, managing to use Voldemort's own power 
against him.
