I was trying to point out, as usual, that there are likely
explainations for seeming inconsistencies. When ever we find any
seeming inconsistancy, I find it better to look for an explainations
that is likely even if I have to make one up that is unsupported,
rather than look for proof that it is a mistake.
I still stand by my idea as a possibility, but I think your idea that
house points can only be taken from the house in which the Prefect is
a member as the MOST LIKELY explaination, and if I had remembered it
from when you've brought it up in the past, it probably would have
been the one that I too mentioned.
So, I humbly bow to the superior knowledge of an actual Prefect.
