with my theory that it's Lucius Malfoy that will turn out to be the 
real threat. An old-school, with-your-shield-or-on-it matriarch like 
Molly could soldier through any of those boggart deaths except

Molly was my bet for the big OoP death because that would be the most 
traumatic for the most characters, including Harry. This way is far 
more operatic in scale, and dark? Well, JKR did say it was going to 
get dark...

I hope you're wrong, though.
