Now me:
Yep. I think it's all down to the Shorting Hat song and the essential 
unification of the Houses to stop Hogwarts from destroying its 
self.   Slytherin is the only hold out, but something will make Draco 
turn and aid Harry if only to save his own life.  In turn that power 
of unification will be used to vanquish the Dark Lord.  Not sure how 
but I believe this final battle will be fought on the grounds of the 
school with the representatives of all four houses uniting to battle 
Lord Voldemort.  Something like that.
