Mandy again:
I agree.  I was just thinking of the Veela in GoF and Mr. Weasley's 
comment on don't go for looks alone boys.  Something like that.  
Certainly JKR is saying a lot on the superficial exterior vs. 
internal substance.  

Perhaps all the handsome ones are doomed.
