What if Harry dies?

Some recent posting made me stop and think for a while this evening as to 
what the reaction *would* be if Harry meets his end in book seven... or six for 
that matter. I thought back to all the interviews I have read and all the posts 
we have shared, and it hit me.... it *might* happen.  In lieu of my recent 
post on the boy who believes, what kind of awful mess has Pottermania created if 
Harry were to die?

I can see all the arguments that Harry will have to live in order for 
Voldemort to die, but JKR has never really been one for the happiest of endings. 
Every good thing that happens has plenty of bad come along with it. She makes it 
clear that in many cases there is no black and white.  

So pause for a moment and think, what would your reaction be?
