He could set up as an apothecary for a start. I almost guarantee Madam
Pomfrey doesn't make the potions she uses in her work any more than a doctor
in a hospital makes the medication he prescribes. If he sold mainly to
places like St Mungos it would limit the amount of time he had to spend
dealing with people. He could even set up with a partner (assuming he could
find someone who wanted to work with him - *raises hand hopefully* <g>) so
the partner handled the customers and the finances and he made and invented
potions all the time. I suspect that would suit him down to the ground.
