Actually, he was described as a very large cat or quite a small tiger.
And though he got along well with Snuffles, he tried to kill Scabbers.
I don't think he'd care much for Regulus, who was an "idiot" (Sirius's
word) and a coward (the Cowardly Lion?) But since Regulus has been
dead for fifteen years, I'm not sure that it matters.
