Actually, Madagascar is probably an extremely likely place for Sirius
to hide. I speculated Thailand/Malasia because I know they are
tropical as well as magical places, but Madagascar is actually closer
to Britain, and it would seem to be easy to travel accross Africa's
interior undetected.
