Also wanted to point out that in GoF (Hardcover pg. 158 [The Triwizard
Tournament] Canadian Edition), its said that,

"Harry wondered whether Baddock knew that Slytherin house had turned out
more dark witches and wizards than any other."

Not sure if thats been mentioned yet, seems clear that every house may
produce dark wizards, slytherin just happens to be number one in that
area... :)
