Ginny says (CoS, US 323):

"I've looked forward to coming to Hogwarts ever since
B-Bill came" 

Just a minor point, but she doesn't actually say she's wanted to go 
since Bill got his letter.  I don't think she was referring 
specifically to the time Bill began at Hogwarts but more generally 
to the time Bill was there.  I may be off but that's how I 
interpreted her statement.
