Don't kow whether this is relevant, but the Nevilles were a very rich
and powerful family in northern England in the fifteenth century.
Richard Neville, the Earl of Warwick, was called the Kingmaker for his
role in helping his Yorkist cousin Edward IV defeat the Lancastrian
Henry VI. (I'm oversimplifying, but any more details would take me too
far off topic.)
