the 1st challenge. Anyway, I think I have missed something here, I
don't remember in the first 2 readings Crouch planning to kill
Harry. I always thought his objective was to deliver Harry to
Voldy. I scanned through and could not find a page. Can someone
help?

Good old canon again....

"'The Dark Lord didn't manage to kill you, Potter, and he /so/ wanted
to,' whispered Moody. 'Imagine how he will reward me when he finds I
have done it for him. I gave you to him - the thing he needed above
all to regenerate - and then I killed you for him. I will be honoured
beyond all other Death Eaters. I will be his dearest, his closest
supporter.... closer than a son...'

Moody's normal eye was bulging, the magical eye fixed upon Harry. The
door was barred and Harry knew he would never reach his own wand in
time."

(GOF chapter "Veritaserum", pp. 588/9 UK edition)

I think the original objective /was/ to deliver Harry but when Harry
escaped using the Portkey, Moody decided that he would eliminate
Harry.
