At this point in the plot, Hagrid knows Sirius well and believes he 
went very very bad.

He might not be referring to Sirius, he only mentions Voldemort. I know 
reading between the lines is good, but don't read too much or you start making up points that aren't necessarily true or false, like the one you stated. 

Thats what you think - it's never been proven. Personally I beg to differ.
