Geoff:
This reminds me of something that has puzzled me. It has been
suggested here and in many other posts that Voldemort acted rashly by
attacking Harry at the age of 15 months and not leaving him to grow
up and then decide which of the two boys represented the threat.
A follow up to this is, why under those circumstances, did he wait so
long? Why was he not in there, firing from the hip, when Harry was
just a tiny child?
