I think divination is a good bet, oiboyz.
 
And what if it is to be used for "blood" rituals? I have always 
supposed since that it was Black family members' blood samples, and 
that may be used for checking if someone was "pure" enough for them. 
Other pet theory is that it may be used for Dark Magic rituals 
involving healing deadly wounds (not necromancy or bringing back the 
dead intended).

Sorry if it has been said before, I've been on holidays, and I am 
trying to cope with thousands of mails.
