Hello all!
I've been thinking about this quote from JKR.
"Key things happen in book two. No one knows how important those things
are... yet. There's a lot in there. And I know how difficult it was to get
it all in there without drawing too much attention to the clues."

I know this has been talked about alot already, but here's my thought
anyways.
I think one of the things is Professor Lockhart and his memory loss. He
knows alot of information. He's stolen many peoples memories. They told
him their stories and then he wiped their memories of them. Now he's the
only one who knows that information.
I personally never thought we'd see Lockhart again, but there he was in
OotP. He's in St. Mungo's and he's slowly recovering. What if he remembers
some important piece of information?
Didn't he know something about werewolf cures? There's a new werewolf at
St. Mungo's.
There's also the subject of his books. He put alot of those stolen stories
in them. JKR made a point of having Molly reading one of them in those
dreaded cleaning scenes. Maybe there's something in there. What was the
point of all those cleaning scenes anyway? Obviously, there are clues in
there (or at least I hope so, so I don't feel like she wasted all those
pages on it).
What do you think? Do you think Lockhart will prove useful after all?
Joj
