James/MWPP in Slytherin (was MWPP in all 4 Houses)

What IF... the marauders were from different houses? I know it is a 
bit of a stretch, but, bear with me. Say the four met on the train to 
Hogwarts their first year and shared a cabin. They were separated 
during the sorting ceremony, Lupin to Gryfindor, Sirus to Slytherin, 
James to Ravenclaw, and Peter to Hufflepuff(because he does not 
possess the drive that seems to be inherent for Slytherin and the 
courage for  Gryfindor, or the wits for Ravenclaw). DD encouraged and 
helped the friendship in desire to cultivate cross house friendships. 
Their main contact was through the nightly romps with Lupin.
