Seems pasties are what we New Yorkers of West Indian descent call 
patties, and Latinos call empanadas; Hogwarts Express' pumpkin 
pasties are probably savory, with oxtails.

As for spotted dick, I'd rather eat cockroach clusters, which also 
exist, like gummi rats...
