According to A Dictionary of Slang at
http://www.peevish.co.uk/slang/p.htm :

Pillock:
Noun. Idiot, fool. Originally a slang term for the penis but fairly
inoffensive now that this meaning has been forgotten. Derog.

Katrina (who sometimes also tends to the pedantic)
