It was a spell that one of the death eaters used, it was in the book, 
did you miss it? Anyway, they probably lifted it later, like the 
tarantalegra spell on Neville. Those uncertainties in language are 
pretty common in brittish diction I would say.

I don´t think its anything to worry about.
