Joe, I love that line about "passive-aggressive Ooops moments."
OK, so we have Severus Snape, trusted by DD. Who as a good officer,
argues with his commanding officer in private and agrees and obeys in
public.
Then he slips and reveals Lupin's problem. Then he stops occlumency.
There must be more going on here than we know about.
