So Malfoy gets off scot free? Without question imo.
But do you think Malfoy would take the position of Minister for Magic
if it were offered to him?
I think he would. What has he been working for all his life but for
the power to reign as King above all? It would put him in the
position to take over as Supreme Leader when he deemed the time is
right. War is looming, the WW is about to enter a state of ciaos and
ripe for controlling, by the right man in the right position. Would
it please LV? Could Malfoy convince him it's all for his (LV)
benefit, whilst plotting to use Harry to destroy LV when the time is
right?
Malfoy's only stumbling block, and it a big one, is DD. But if the
WW pushes DD into the background during all this, as they might
because DD was instrumental in the MoM incident, Malfoy could assume
power easily. But, could Malfoy ensure DD was taken out of the
picture to keep himself secure in the position of Minister?
