Carol again:
Right. I know that it would be complicated to bring in PP by name--it
would sound like a cock and bull story. But why not at least say that
a DE did it on Voldemort's orders. That would be more plausible than
Voldemort (thought to have been vaporized) doing it himself. The
students don't even know about his "baby" form. As DD and Harry tell
it, it sounds as if the resurrected Voldemort killed Cedric himself
with his own wand.
Maybe I'm worried about nothing, but I think they're undermining their
own credibility by not giving at least a *slightly* clearer version of
what happened. Maybe now that LV is known to have come back, Harry
will make some version of the story public. Or maybe he and DD will
think it's best to protect Cedric's privacy?
