Well, if we accept this premise, then you're making out the
septology out to be something (exactly?) like a Classical Epic Poem
Written By A Guy In A Toga.
One of the characteristics of the CEPWBAGIAT, is what I've heard
called "descent motif." That is to say the Good Guy goes down to the
underworld and survives and brings stuff/people back.
And I'm thinking of several hints to that effect in the canon. First
off there's "Fluffy" (i.e., Cerberus) and then the veil as a gateway
to the WW underworld seems to be a convenient way to stride in and
go find what/whomever you miss most.
I'm starting to think it'd be quite plausible to have, at some point
in the next 2 books, HP go through the veil and go try and bring
Sirius back, doing that whole Orpheus (who could coax trees to
movement, no less) in the Underworld thing.
Discuss.
