Samwise the Longwinded again
But he does confide in people, Ron and Hermione in particular. He
talked to them about what happened in the grave yard. We didn't get
to see that unfortunately, but that's what he told Cho. They might
not be right all the time, but Harry goes to them for advice and
support and he usually listens to them.
It would be nice if he went to Lupin if only because we want to know
him better. He knew both Sirius and James very well too. Given JKR's
comment about Harry learning to better control his feelings in book
6 and the possibility that Lupin might be a Ligimins(sp?) makes me
wonder if Lupin will be teaching Harry again in some capacity. DD
would be a great instructor also but he's got a full plate what with
school, the MOM, and the Order. It's a guess although it sounds as
if Lupin's "big role" isn't till book seven. We'll see... As for
Harry distancing himself from Lupin that would depend. Sirius was a
wanted criminal with both the DEs and the MOM out for blood. Just
leaving his door step was dangerous. And given Sirius' disregard for
his own saftey where Harry is concerned, it seemed reasonable not to
alarm Sirius unneedingly. Sheesh, poor Harry...He's going to lose
friends no matter what he does anyway. It would be even sadder if he
put them at arms length while they were still around.
