I'm not sure this is really an answer as this pun isn't even in the 
books, but I thought it was funny. On an interview I saw on TV JK 
said that the Death Eaters used to be called the Knights of 
Walpurgis. I knew I'd heard that somewhere before so I looked in the 
dictionary and found that Walpurgis Night is, in Germany, a night 
when witches are said to gather.
