I have given this considerable thought, and if, it were possible, 
then the "thoughts" collected from Cedric would have shown Harry to 
be quite truthful in his announcement that Voltemort had 
returned...this would have squashed Fudge into a babbling idiot much 
sooner...

Also, if the "thoughts" were collected from Quirrell, no doubt we'd 
see that he was a very unwilling victim! I wonder, IF the "thoughts" 
of Quirrell were accessible, would they include Voltemort's as 
well...they DID share the same head!

No doubt Hermione could use one to store some of the "over-active" 
brain power she possesses! Would have helped her in her "time-turner" 
days!

I think everyone would benefit from this....you could recall 
everything with clarity....it would be a boon for those of us who 
suffer from memory loss!
