Portraits of medieval Healers on the stairway at St Mungo's diagnosed
Ron's freckles as "splattergoit", for which IIRC he must stand up to
his neck in a barrel full of newt eyes in the moonlight. I am
horrified by the number of newts it would take to fill a barrel with
their eyes (maybe Agatha Timms's eel farm is for potion ingredients,
not food) and even more horrified that medieval wizards appear to have
been as STUPID about Healing as medieval Muggles.
