Actually, the Prophecy says, "Neither can *live* while the other
survives," which I take to mean that both are only *surviving* now
(literally true in LV's case--Harry's is less clear). The winner
(presumably Harry!) will truly live when the other ceases to survive
(exist in any earthly form). Once Harry is free of the burden of being
the instrument of LV's destruction, he can stop surviving (merely
staying alive and training to destroy Voldemort and truly live (which
I define as being his real self, Just Harry, with his magic powers
intact but without the burden of having to save the WW).

As for the Dementor's kiss for LV, I agree that it would be an
appropriate end for LV, but I'm not sure how Harry could get the
Dementor to do it, and the Dementor itself is a thing of evil, beyond
redemption (it has no human will). He would need to destroy it
immediately afterwards. I don't like that scenario, but I don't like
sending LV through the Veil, either.

What would work, then? I have no idea except for one wild
thought--Harry somehow obtaining Voldemort's wand and using both wands
against him to perform something other than an Unforgiveable Curse
(which probably wouldn't work on LV, anyway). I have no doubt that
Harry will be the victor and that he will not just survive but *live*
as the fulfillment of the Prophecy. I just have no idea how he can do
it and maintain the high moral ground.
