Tut, tut!
Never apologise for sincerely held views and on no account hold back
on the posts; that way frustration lies. Though hopefully you will be
suitably penitent when the inevitable climax is reached amid scenes
of exploding eyeballs, skin sloughing, crunching bones, vital organs
ripped from living bodies and other merry japes. And if it doesn't
actually occur in the books, Kneasy will do his best to fill the gap
on site.
It's the differences that add the spice to the site. Think how boring it
would be if we all agreed with each other. Some of us start climbing
walls when there's outbreaks of SHIPping, some at TBAYs, but it would
be a rotten site if whole swathes of imagination were curtailed because
of personal likes and dislikes. In fact, wishful thinking of the more
peaceful bent and fan-fic tendencies full of hearts and flowers give
evil-minded FEATHERBOA flourishers openings to exploit which are
leapt on with glad cries, crude, insensitive beasts that we are.
And realism? Is Harry Potter real? Come to that, is Kneasy real?
It's entertainment, a chance to cross wits with others who are similarly
afflicted with the same odd compulsion to dissect HP. Adding touches
of real world thinking helps make the whole thing even more bizarre;
it's like watering plastic flowers - harmless but it does make the
neighbours talk.
Stick with it, but be prepared for the barbarians to come swarming
over the hill.
Kneasy
