Or it could possibly mean that Kingsley and Mr. Weasley are pulling a 
bunch of pure nonsense straight out of their armpits for the sake or 
*purposefully* pursuing a set of false leads and wild goose chases, 
so that the hunt for Sirius Black never actually gets anywhere.  
Remember, the 'official' word is that Sirius is hiding out in 
*Tibet.*  Why even give serious consideration to what they're saying 
about the motorcycle, given the context?
