Mandy here;
No. I love Molly. She is one of the roundest and most real
characters in the story. The fact that you both hate and love her at
times shows what a fantastic creation she is.
As to her attitude in OotP: She a mother and a wife who knows in her
head, heart and soul that war is coming. Her loved ones are at
tremendous risk, and she knows deep down, that one, if not more, of
her children are probably going to die. She is absolutely terrified,
as she remembers the last war too well. I don't blame her attitude
at all.
