I think this is movie contamination-it was Dumbledore who said 
something to that effect in SS/PS to McGonagall.  I think this is a 
good example of how after facing a fear the first time it becomes 
easier as you go. The more times she says it the more confident she 
gets in saying it.  It doesn't matter so much that it was in public.
