Any "real sleuths among you"? Because I'm not so sure about this one.

What happened with "Don't trust anything that thinks for itself if
you don't know where it keeps its brain"?(from CS; I don't have the
quote in front of me, so I may have gotten it slightly wrong) The
Weasley's car does think for itself to some degree! Why do Arther
and Molly trust it?

I do not believe that the car thinks for itself until it obviously
gets fedup with being beaten to death by the W' Willow and charges
off into the F' Forest. When they next meet it, it' a case of trust
the car or the friendly little spiders and I for one would be just a
little suspicious of the spiders.

Did anyone think that Dumbledore was behind this? My idea for Book
8 is to read Dumbledore's journal about all 7 books - where he was,
how he knew what was happening - how he made sure that nothing
really bad happened...and how he slipped up...how his heart finally
melted so that Harry got under his skin so bad that he fought
against telling the boy the truth...and in my opinion still hasn't
told him everything yet...
