On Topic:
I'm not sure Harry is planned to die. JKR has answered questions
about writing about Harry after Hogwarts, but her response has been
basically that it probably won't happen, but could. If it was in her
plans to kill Harry, her answer would have been more complex or
evasive.

I hope JKR lets Harry live, and as corny as it may sound "happily
ever after." His death would be like losing a close friend for many
of her readers, something I don't think she would wish for or plan
for.

Maybe Neville's increasing talent will be used to do what neither of
his parents, nor Sirius, could do - defeat Bellatirx. He would still
play an important role, and would avenge so many hurt by her.

Off Topic:
1) Are there any theories on Harry and LV having to die at the same
time, a la the Matrix endings?

2) Are Harry or his soul in trouble since he tried the Cruciatus
curse on Bellatrix, it's Unforgivable you know?
