I'd go even further : Molly couldn't act differently. I mean, what
does she know about them ?
1. They got something like 3 OWLs each : no hope of ever getting
into some good studies or jobs.
2. They want to drop out of school, and don't want to study any
further.
3. They have no source of income whatsoever (she doesn't know about
the TWT winnings)
4. They don't care about anything but having fun (a bit like kids in
the RL who spend all their free time playing video games)
5. They are quite irresponsible and don't seem to give much value to
*anything* : authority, life (theirs or others'), feelings...
So what are we left with ? Two almost-adults who only seem to want
to have fun, don't seem to acknowledge the laws (legal, social or
physical) of the world, have no feasible plans for the future (no
study and apparently no money), and live in their own private world.
I'd say any conscientious parent would panic and try to put some
sense in their heads !!
