I just thought of this....

If what you speculate is true, that DD is a pureblood,
then....

Sirius stated once that almost all pureblood wizards
are related now and days.

Sirius is pureblood
Harry's Father is pureblood making Harry a decendent
from that line.
and if DD turns out to be pureblood, would this make
HP and DD related, even if it is distant?

Just a speculation...???
